OR Collective rents baby and toddler clothes on subscription — good design, less waste, and one less thing for parents to think about.

Rental works differently to retail. Stock circulates rather than sells, and customers swap and pause rather than buy once. We built the platform from scratch to handle it: subscriptions, swaps, returns, and the inventory logic underneath.

A wardrobe that grows with them

Kids grow out of things faster than anyone can keep up with. So swaps are partial by default, send back what no longer fits, keep what they've grown into, and pick replacements in a couple of clicks.

Behind it, the plan stays the same and every returned piece goes back into stock with its history intact. All integrated with automated Webhooks & integrations, so returns can get dealt with as quickly as possible

And a system that keeps track

Rental stock doesn't sit still. The same pieces go out, come back, and go out again to someone new, so we track every garment individually rather than as a number in a column.

Every item has a history: who's worn it, how often, and how much life it has left. It tells or collective when to retire something, which pieces are worth reordering, and how many times each garment got used instead of thrown away.

The system behind the wardrobe

Orders and Returns sync automatically from the warehouse and reconcile against individual garment records rather than SKU counts. Damaged pieces are flagged and retired, missing ones chased, and stock stays accurate without manual reconciliation.

Behind it sits a bespoke admin portal, garment-level tracking, rotation history, condition management, and reporting on utilisation, so the team can see which pieces earn their keep and plan buying around real data rather than guesswork.

Subscriptions that work

Rental subscriptions are messier than they look. Plans get upgraded, pieces get swapped, people pause for a month and come back. We built the subscription layer on Stripe so all of it happens automatically, plan changes, prorated billing, pauses and cancellations without any issues.
